Our first meeting location of the season turned out to be Lisa's house. Lisa has a dog and several people are allergic to it. The dog also likes to hump legs and cause havoc. For the fantasy meeting, the dog was kept on the deck (prison cell). This was a great bonus, although there were still several allergens all over the house.
Lisa has a 32 inch plasma TV. She can not afford $10/3 ($3.33) to get HD cable coverage so the HD was coming from an antenna. While the quality was definitely HD, there were several interruptions in the signal whenever anyone moved.
Lisa made up for all of that with some great preparations. There was pizza, quesadillias, stale chicken wings, and Cool Ranch Doritos, which were cool in like 8th grade. The fridge was fully stocked with beer including fantasy team favorite Sam Adam's Octoberfest. This did not stop people from drinking glass after glass of water. Most importantly it was free-er than a bar and Lisa did all the work. Thanks Lisa!
After football game and halftime possibilities included Nintendo Wii, XBOX 360, or Guitar hero, which would have been cool. She also had Stat Tracker live and ready to go and read out the scores LIVE! Internet access is definitely a big bonus for a fantasy location.
Overall, the event was a success even though the game was not...

editors note: i am really glad everyone came out. Thanx for coming; it was so nice to have some people to watch the game with. As erik will testify, watching football with micah can be...a little, ummm, awkward.
